The Festival
The East Palestine Park Festival was founded in 1985 by Carol Harvey and Margaret Swope. The Festival began as a simple craft show and has grown over the years to include entertainment, car shows, increased business support and extensive community involvement. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Festival which funds park improvements with the proceeds.
Proceeds accumulated from previous Festivals were used to construct the restroom facility situated between the baseball diamonds, a major swimming pool renovation project and funds to help construct the newly erected East Palestine Community Center. Following are pictures from the 1999 Festival.
